Did anyone else catch how strangely alike "Love...Thy Will Be Done" sounds to "Fifty-Fifty Clown" by Cocteau Twins?
The Originals - terrible, low-quality packaging with no proper booklet inside - but I do enjoy the extra NC2U Cinematic Version, something we didn't get in the Australian release, though I agree with others, it's not much of an "exclusive" if it was on the Japanese one - LOL
Excellent, groovy tunes AND the packaging is beautifully crafted as well. My only (minor) issue is with the photograph of Prince that Alex Tenta and Trevor Guy (the designers) picked for the front cover. Prince appears a bit shifty in the pic, with a guilty expression, like he just quietly let out a silent but deadly toot and is now anxious about the potential fallout of his gaseous mishap.
Awful, flimsy packaging but the inside stuff is fantastic, though I reckon it's more for hardcore fans (aka - that's me) than casual ones, but I'm stoked to have it in my collection. Target US has it with that extra track, which is totally worth tracking down too.
I'm head over heels for this album on white vinyl. It's a visual and auditory masterpiece. Definitely one of my top Prince collections.
