I'm really enjoying this album, and the sound quality is great. However, it's not pressed quite right, off to one side. This wasn't an issue before, but lately, it seems to be happening more often.

Ry Cooder, the legendary American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, returns with his sixteenth studio album, "The Prodigal Son," released on May 11, 2018, under Fantasy Records. This captivating collection of 11 tracks blends genres like blues, country blues, Americana, country rock, and roots rock, offering a rich and diverse musical experience that spans a total of 49 minutes.

"The Prodigal Son" is not just another album; it's a profound exploration of contemporary political and social issues, masterfully woven into the fabric of traditional American folk music. Ry Cooder's distinctive voice and virtuoso musicianship shine through in this collection, which includes both covers of classic songs and original compositions.

The album opens with "Straight Street," a powerful track that sets the tone for the rest of the record.
