Raye just keeps levelling up! It’s her music, her lyrics, her voice, and her videos—everything’s just fire. Can’t wait to catch her live in Austin this spring!!! Some cuts got you moving, others hit you right in the feels—so real, so honest!! 🪩🥹🎶
She mentioned this album isnt the same as her steaming one & that the 1st press will be called “Special Addition” for that reason. Havent checked it out on steaming yet but figured id let yall know.
Solid album with just four tracks per side (five on side D), so it doesn’t feel overloaded. Both records are pressed flat with no gaps between tracks—just clean sound. Essential listening for any music fan. 10/10
Mind-blowing album, this is Raye at her absolute best! Every artist got that one album that defines em, and for me, this is Raye's without a doubt—10/10
This vinyl edition is a labor of love, with every detail—from the custom album-sleeve cutout to the sturdy printed inner sleeves and the densely packed, thick booklet—crafted with remarkable attention. The vinyl’s coloring is breathtaking. That said, the mastering isn’t flawless; I get that this is a wildly maximalist album and modern vinyl’s dynamic compression struggles to capture it, but the issue’s mostly confined to the inner grooves. Even then, it’s not a dealbreaker, and tracks like ‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!’ sound great on the included 7” single, so no complaints. All in all, an incredible album wrapped in a gorgeous vinyl package and decent—but not perfect—mastering.
