This sleeve and packaging are as wild and over-the-top as it gets. It's absolutely flawless in every aspect. It's a tad pricey but, for me, it's worth every penny. This is, hands down, my top pick from Atmosphere. Slug and A.N.T. absolutely killed it on this one. Tracks like Like the Rest Of Us, Yesterday, and Guarantees sound incredible. There's not a single track on here that feels out of place. The production is just as amazing as the packaging. Zero hiss or noise. The balance and dynamics are spot on. I didn't tweak a thing and it sounded as close to perfect as you can get.
This pressing is just as stunning as everyone else has said. The production is flawlessly balanced, with the vocals sitting just right, and my discs arrived perfectly flat (unlike VMP, which has warping issues). I'd heard of this album before, but it never quite clicked for me at the time. Fast forward a few years, and I'm thrilled I finally decided to buy it. The liner notes are a nice touch too, with a handy song-by-song breakdown.
This album is fantastic, it's got a vibe that's more akin to "Seven's Travels" than "You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having". I mean, it's not got those heavy beats he's been using lately. It's super soft and packed with awesome tracks that just make me feel good, even if the lyrics aren't exactly happy. In my opinion, it's a must-have, and the cover art is really cool too.
The anniversary edition turned out fantastic! It's a visual and auditory treat, and the kids' book is surprisingly enjoyable. The black fabric is a real standout, both in appearance and texture, but you might want to handle it with gloves to steer clear of any fingerprint marks. :)
