While I appreciate the packaging, vinyl color, and pressing quality, I must concur with others. The artwork selection left me somewhat disappointed. The chosen design was alright, but I believe it should have featured the original artwork and some movie stills. The gatefold could have been more impressive with a movie photo(s). Waxwork has indeed put a lot of effort into this, as widely reported, but I think this release could have been even better with more of the original art. However, the most crucial aspect is the music, which, as a tribute to this classic film, is absolutely essential.
This vinyl has excessive surface noise. The sound quality is average and quite faint. I wouldn't suggest it.
Waxwork has done it again with another fantastic release. There's a touch of surface noise, but no clicks or skips. The remaster is spot on.
Can't comment on the Waxwork take, so I'm just talking about this one, but believe me, it's fantastic! Sounds incredibly dynamic! It's missing a few things from the Waxwork version, but it's still definitely worth getting.
Awesome pressing! No pops or hiss. Its alright. !
