Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Vinyl Quality Superb

    5 out of 5 stars
    Luis RobertsJanuary 19, 2026United States🇺🇸

I've got a copy with the RSD "newly remastered from the analog tapes" sticker, though it's not numbered. The pressing is fantastic, but I'm not entirely convinced this album was originally recorded on analog or that it was directly cut from tape (they might've mixed to tape and then transferred back to digital for that effect). Regardless, the vinyl quality is superb, with minimal surface noise, and it's the most enjoyable version of the record I've experienced.

  • Loud but Great Album

    3 out of 5 stars
    Eva FrançoisDecember 31, 2025United States🇺🇸

Awesome album, though it's a bit of a casualty of the loudness wars. Just like my CD of Oracular Spectacular, every song's volume is pretty much maxed out, right near 0dB. Definitely suggest going for the vinyl versions instead.

  • Loud Album, Get Vinyl

    3 out of 5 stars
    Matilde OliveiraDecember 31, 2025United States🇺🇸

Awesome album, though it's a bit too loud, just like my CD of Oracular Spectacular, where each song is almost always peaking at 0dB. Definitely suggest going for the vinyl versions instead.

Awesome album, though it's a bit of a casualty of the loudness wars. My CD of Oracular Spectacular is the same, with each track maxing out near 0dB. Definitely suggest going for the vinyl versions instead.

  • Loudness Wars Mar Vinyl

This album is fantastic, but it's unfortunately affected by the loudness wars. It's the same story with my CD of Oracular Spectacular, where every song is pretty much always peaking close to 0dB. I'd strongly suggest checking out the vinyl versions instead.
