The moment these records slipped outta the sleeve, I was blown away—cleanest ones I've ever laid eyes on. Zero issues with my copy, and the sound? Absolutely stellar. Honestly, couldn't be happier. Top-notch quality control, hands down.
The pressing is indeed really good. Despite my immense love for this album, I can't give it five stars due to the terrible packaging. The paper is so poor quality that I had to clean the record TWICE before the FIRST PLAY just to remove the insane amount of debris on both sides. I never thought replacing the outer and inner sleeve was necessary, but in this case, it's a must, or else this record won't last long on my shelf. If you want more info, check out xerfander's review below, as I had the exact same problem he did. (And No, this isn't an unofficial release. My "Linkin Park - One More Light" vinyl is also from Warner Europe and has the same issues as this one)
Side B's got a bunch of pops and surface noise, especially in 'Hallucinate' and 'Love Again'. The Moonlight Edition version sounds way better.
I gotta echo what everyone else is saying, this vinyl is amazing! The sound quality is spot on, no skips or pops here, and the record itself looks gorgeous. I usually have trouble with pop songs on vinyl, they always seem to skip and pop, but this one's been flawless. Kudos to whoever worked on it, I'm really impressed. And let's not forget the album itself, it's freakin' awesome and totally deserves all the love and attention it's getting. I'm obsessed. The booklet did arrive a bit torn up, but hey, it's not a deal-breaker. I'm still all about it.
Great album. That pink moon on disk 1 is just lovely. The plastic holding the cds feels so fragile.
