How do we keep reviews authentic?

Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Legendary Album Still Shines

    Manon DupontNovember 19, 2025United States🇺🇸

Havent listened to this legendary album in ages. Picked it up when it first released and played it non-stop. Still an amazing album, mastered perfectly and the vinyl is still in great shape. No skips or crackles, big shoutout!

  • Perfect Pressing, Dead Flat

this pressing is so close to perfect, dead flat and silent, zero clicks or pops.

  • Pallas Pressed Vinyl Impresses

    5 out of 5 stars
    Judith RizzoJuly 8, 2025

Huh??? No reviews for the Pallas pressed version??? Alright, so the printed inners do leave a little mark on the surfaces but I gave mine a quick wash and they're perfectly flat, right on center, no groove defects, and they sound amazing. While I don't have any other vinyl copy, I'm really liking what I'm hearing... smoother, less bumpy, and just plain better sounding than my old CD, but that might just be my setup's extra color. After adding poly liners to those printed inners, I'm now 100% happy with this pressing and would say that THIS is the one you should look for!

  • Classic Hip Hop Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    Raúl RamirezJuly 6, 2025United States🇺🇸

One of the greatest hip hop albums of all time, this should definitely be in the hall of fame. Muggs did an amazing job on this record. I've got like three different versions of this album.

  • Vinyl Prices Skyrocket

    5 out of 5 stars
    Alexis LewisMay 4, 2025United States🇺🇸

This is an amazing sounding record! The vinyl is flawless and has minimal surface noise, aside from the vinyl noise that's intentionally part of the track. I bought this album brand new way back in '95 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It cost me $45.00 CAD, and I had to really think about that purchase 🤔 At that time, $45.00 was the most I'd ever spent on a record 😮 How times have changed...I was at a record store just last week and $45.00 was considered quite affordable. Many new releases were priced between $80 - $90 😮 And these weren't even special editions or box sets. Just regular albums! These record companies might be overpricing themselves into oblivion 😕
