I ain't heard nothin' else versions of this album, but this one's solid.
Dies hier ist meine erste Ausgabe von diesem Album. Ob's an der Aufnahme allgemein liegt oder nich, aber Eric Claptons Stimme klingt irgendwie flach und muffig. Im Gegensatz zu den Instrumenten, die zwar auch nich besonders hochauflösend sin, aber trotzdem gut ausbalanciert sind. Ich schau mal, ob ich 'ne bessere Version von dem Album find – immerhin sind ja ein paar Klassiker drauf.
To me, this heer's great! Grabbed it at a flea market in NM condition for a doller.
Must admit, I'm not totally blown away by this one. Crazy to think it, but my SACD version absolutely smokes it in sound quality, end of story. That said, it's still a killer album, just not a huge step up—or any step up, really—over a solid original pressing.
Next to my ol' copy from the 70’s, this one’s got less punch and volume. Did a side by side and it’s a bit worse off.
