Rhino's pressings are typically fantastic. The quality is decent - it sounds clear, but the dynamic range doesn't match up to the originals from the 70s. It's not awful, but you'll definitely notice the difference if you listen to them one after the other.
This pressing is absolutely amazing. It's way better than the first green label release, no contest. I'd definitely suggest going with this one because of its loud, clear sound quality.
ANOTHER fantastic CB cut of VOLUME 4, just with a tiny label difference. Check out the other 2011 US variant's page for more details .....
An album that's often overlooked, which is a shame because it's pretty good. The mixing is a bit iffy, though. Some instruments seem to disappear in certain tracks, while in others they're right there. Ozzy's vocals are a bit hit or miss too.
This re-release is really quite good, holding its own next to my vintage copies of Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath from the 70s. The sound quality is excellent, with no skips, crackles, or fuzzy audio. It's a solid purchase for the price.
